The time we meet new people around us is just another opportunity for new venture. Some people make more friends who later will become their tribe. Many of us simply make friends for the current needs.
As we attend a program or training class, we might need a friend for that particular time. Some will still keep in touch even after the program end.
Today, as technology grows, there are many ways how people make friends and stay connected. Whatsapp is another application which is very popular among adults and business people.
Personally, I found that whatsapp somehow made people continue to support each other in a way that we have never thought before.
Yet, making friends casually and building network is not the same. For business people, they need the network more than just friends.
Through network people connect themselves differently, They way the support each other and communicate is also different. Many sets different group to differentiate from social friends and business network.
As for that, I realized that the way friends and network think and communicate is very much different.
+ they do not talk about business all the time, but they remain in business all the time
+ they look for opportunity to be heard and seen
+ they share all necessary information about other people’s business which later makes people share about them
+ they do organize physical meeting once a while
+ they do support each other through communicating ideas and business information
+ when being asked, “What is your plan after this?”, they normally respond naturally as they have everything planned well in their head
Both group of friends and network has its own objective and purposes.
Both are important, yet each has its own value.
