There are many ways of telling a story.
One of it is without book.
Telling stories become one of the activities chosen by many teachers to develop better listening skills among children. They will need to be alert and attentive, in order to be part of the story, while having enough room for imagination.
At the end of the day, having fun and a memorable experience of life value is the most precious gift from a story.
I had tried a few times telling with such style. I believe, practice will help us to be better every time.
What can be done to have a simple and ordinary story to me more interesting?
1. Re-crafted while maintaining the originality of the story.
This include the introduction, the flow of the story, the venue and scene of each plot.
Preparation will take some time, but it is worth the effort.
2. Add on some other elements including, chant, rhyme, songs or or action.
3. Create an interval every 2-3 minutes with item 2 throughout the storytelling session to maintain engagement and participation.
This is a great example of how a story being re-crafted, adjusted, customised that excites everyone.
